Martial and Elanga to start: predicted Man United line-up vs Cadiz
Manchester United have begun their preparations for the resumption of club football later this month as Erik ten Hag took his squad to Spain for a mid-season training camp.
Players not involved in the World Cup and, mainly, youngsters are involved in the trip but Ten Hagβs line-up for their friendly against Cadiz on Wednesday could be telling.
Anthony Martial will be hoping for a good second half of the season after the first three months were ravaged by injuries, with the Frenchman starting jus two league games all season.
He is not believed to have suffered an injury between the last game against Fulham and now, meaning he should be in line to start against Cadiz.
Anthony Elanga is highly likely to flank him on the right side, with breakthrough star Alejandro Garnacho expected to play on the opposite side.
Scott McTominay is the favourite to slot in midfield behind them, with Donny van de Beek also in contention to feature. Pre-season stars Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage will be looking to be involved as well.
In terms of senior players, United are short of options in the backline. Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be welcomed back into the side after a challenging first six months under Ten Hag, whilst Brandon Williams could feature under the Dutchman for the first time.
Manchester United predicted line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Bernard, Williams; McTominay, Iqbal; Elanga, Van de Beek, Garnacho; Martial
