Manchester City have announced their starting XI to take on Sheffield United at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final.
Manchester City take on Championship side Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-final in their hunt for the treble looks to pick up substance in the run-in.
It is certainly not going to be a walk in the park for the defending Premier League Champions as Sheffield United look certain to come back up to the top division as they currently sit second in the Championship table.
City are coming off the back of a brilliant result in Munich which saw them go through to the Champions League semi-finals however Pep Guardiola has made some changes to his side after complaining that his players are exhausted.
Sfean Ortega keeps his place as the cup goalkeeper whilst more orthodox full-backs Kyle Walker and Sergio Gomez come into the backline.
Aymeric Laporte also comes into the side with Manuel Akanji the only player keeping his place from midweek.
Rodri has been rested with Ilkay Gundogan playing in a deeper position and Bernardo Silva playing in a deeper role alongside him as it looks like Guardiola has gone with a front four of Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish.
