Rasmus Hojlund finally begins first-team training, debut timeframe revealed
Rasmus Hojlund has finally begun training with the Manchester United squad this week, as per Samuel Luckhurst.
The young forward signed in July but was almost immediately ruled out of action due to a back injury, which has kept him out of the clubβs opening fixtures. He has also been training solely at Carrington while he works his way to full fitness.
Given that United have looked substandard and lacklustre in attack, the Old Trafford faithful have been eagerly awaiting Hojlund to come into the fold and showcase his abilities.
Hojlund could make debut vs. Arsenal
It seems as though the first chance heβll get to do so is next Sunday, September 3 when the Reds travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal. Luckhurst suggests that Hojlund could be in contention to make his debut in the highly-anticipated clash between the two rivals.
Whether itβll be as a starter or a substitute remains to be seen, as Erik ten Hag may be apprehensive to throw him into the deep end after his injury layoff.
