Erik ten Hag assures United have prepared for injuries and wonβt panic-buy following Luke Shaw setback
Erik ten Hag has insisted that Manchester United have prepared for injuries and wonβt be pressured into buying replacements.Β
It was confirmed on Thursday evening that Luke Shaw had sustained a muscular injury and would be sidelined for an extended period, with new reports suggesting he may be out for as long as eight weeks.
Mason Mount is also ruled out of action after picking up an issue during last weekβs trip to face Tottenham Hotspur, adding to a growing list of fitness concerns for the Red Devils.
However, the manager was calm about the situation when quizzed on the matter in todayβs press conference. He assured that the club had already prepared for such setbacks, and they didnβt feel the need to panic-buy players.
