Sofyan Amrabat is on the back of his maiden outing at Old Trafford after starting in Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.
The Moroccan was deployed out of position for his full debut, as an injury to Sergio Reguilon meant that Amrabat was forced to take a stint at left-back.
Across his 60 minutes on the pitch, he covered almost every blade of grass and put in a superb shift to help the team on their way to a convincing victory.
Amrabat will likely be involved in some form for tomorrow’s Premier League outing against the Eagles, though he’ll be hoping it’s in his preferred spot in midfield.
Ten Hag lauds Amrabat
When asked what the 27-year-old brings to the team, having signed a season-long loan on deadline day, Erik ten Hag replied: “He has more abilities. As a player on the highest level, you need a bigger skillset than only one but his stamina, his dynamics, I think is one of his biggest.”
