Borussia Dortmund manager in regular contact with Jadon Sancho
Jadon Sancho is set to leave Manchester United in the winter amid interest from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports in Germany.
The winger was banished from first-team duties after hitting out at Erik ten Hag with an ill-advised statement on social media.
Now, Sancho is refusing to apologise. He was spotted at Carrington on Saturday morning to support the U18s. The England international posed alongside Kobbie Mainoo and a young fan at the club’s training complex.
Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic is in regular contact with Sancho, reports Florian Plettenberg.

The pair worked together previously at the Bundesliga club when Terzic served as Lucien Favre’s assistant coach.
Terzic’s Dortmund side are currently fourth in the Bundesliga with six games played – two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen and on the same points (14) as Bayern Munich.
However, BVB’s interest in Sancho seems to be focused around a loan deal but unless relations with Ten Hag improve (very unlikely), I’m sure United will just want rid of a player who has failed to live up to expectations since his transfer in 2021.
A loan deal means he remains on the wage books. It shouldn’t go under the radar that Sancho is one of United’s top earners. We’ve seen nowhere near enough from him on the pitch to warrant such a status, yet he has tried to paint himself as a scapegoat at Old Trafford.
That also raises more questions about the contracts we’ve given to players down the years and how the club is still witnessing the effects of Glazer puppet Ed Woodward.
