Brian Brobbey remains a target for Manchester United
Ajax striker Brian Brobbey remains a target for Manchester United after being linked with a summer move to the Premier League.
It is believed Manchester United will look to strengthen their attack next year and reports suggest they could look to Erik ten Hagβs former club, Ajax, yet again to improve the squad.
According to Fichajes, Ten Hag remains keen on bringing Brobbey to Old Trafford having made his interest clear in the summer β after previously working with the forward.
The 20-year-old was given his Ajax debut by Ten Hag and he spent some time in the Bundesliga last season before returning to the Eredivisie.
This season he has managed three goals and two assists in 10 appearances for Ajax.
Ajax will be fed up of hearing from United β but they got way more money out of us last season, despite losing the same amount of players to Bayern Munich.
The Eredivisie club may also claim that we took their manager but theyβve quickly found a decent replacement in Alfred Schreuder, so no love lost, right?
United definitely need to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with a younger goalscorer in the summer, although I highly doubt that Brobbey will be the best one available.
