Cristiano Ronaldo charged by the FA following Everton incident
Cristiano Ronaldoβs season is going from bad to worse as the forward has now been charged by the FA for an incident that took place at Goodison Park last season following Manchester Unitedβs 1-0 defeat to Everton.
As revealed by a spokesperson on the Football Associationβs behalf, the 37-year-old has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 for an incident on April 9, 2022.
Furthermore, Ronaldoβs actions on the day are said to have been improper and/or violent.

The incident in question is in regard to Ronaldoβs interaction with a fan as Manchester United and Everton players made their way off the pitch after the game.
As per BBC journalist Simon Stone, the club have reacted to FAβs charge: βWe note the FA announcement in relation to Cristiano Ronaldo. We will be supporting the player in his response to the charge,β the Old Trafford club said.
It remains to be seen whether Ronaldo challenges the charge but Erik ten Hag will be hoping that it does not result in a ban, United fixture schedule set to be busier than ever.
Following this weekβs international break, United will face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium β the first of nine fixtures in October.
