Derby highlight: Beckham scores free-kick to see off Manchester City

A brilliant David Beckham free-kick just 2 minutes in was enough for Manchester United to beat Manchester City back in November 2000.

It was a trademark free-kick from Beckham and we also need to thank Erling Haaland’s father, Alfie, for committing a foul on Paul Scholes.

Beckham, who was England captain at the time, brilliantly curled his free-kick pas Nicky Weaver and inside the left-hand post.

Hopefully, we’re talking about another win over City this weekend. Erik ten Hag will be without two of his attacking players and United are looking for their fifth win in a row in the Premier League.

Beckham’s goal from 2000 should be enough to get you excited for Sunday.
