EFL wonderkid linked with Premier League switch, including Manchester United
Derby County can expect bids for young talent Cruz Allen.
The Welsh youth player, 16, is impressed in the Rams’ U-18 side and that has alerted a number of Premier League clubs.
According to The Sun, Allen is subject to interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle.
United have added plenty of young talents to their ranks after watching them impress lower down the football pyramid. Now, there’s suggestions that Allen could be next to be added to the list.
The Wales U17 international made his Premier League 2 debut this season and he represented the senior side for the first time when they beat Wolves’ U21s in the EFL trophy.
If the report is true, United will face competition for Allen’s signature but he is under contract at Derby until 2025.
As far as our U18s side is concerned, they’re currently on top of the league table this season after winning their first eight games of the season.
