Jadon Sancho refusing to apologise to Erik ten Hag

Manchester United announced on Thursday that Jadon Sancho is training away from the first-team for disciplinary reasons.

Now, a report from The Athletic has figured that the main reason for Sancho training away from the group is he refused to apologise to manager Erik ten Hag.

The 23-year-old had already thrown his toys out of the pram when he published an ill-advised statement trying to rubbish Ten Hag’s comments after the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal. The statement which was published on X, formerly known as Twitter, has since been deleted.

Sancho will now work away from teammates at United’s academy facilities as the club look to resolve what they refer to as “a squad discipline issue”.

By refusing to apologise Sancho is just showing his lack of maturity and you can’t let a problem like that walk back into the dressing room.

Sancho needs to grow up or he’ll become one of those forgotten players. And, if he keeps behaving like this at United, he’s only going to burn bridges.
