Manchester United reject Β£20m offer for Harry Maguire
Manchester United have rejected a bid from West Ham for Harry Maguire.
The England centre-back has been linked with a move away from Manchester United as one of the players Erik ten Hag has made available on the market.
There hasnβt been a flurry of offers, but Maguire needs to think about his own career and keeping himself in Gareth Southgateβs plans for Euro 2028.
According to The Athletic, West Ham have seen a Β£20m offer rejected by United for Maguire.
Itβs a ridiculous offer when everyone knows the east London side have money after selling Declan Rice to Arsenal in a deal worth Β£105m.
Respected reporter David Ornstein claims Hammers boss West Ham wants Maguire but it is doubtful they will keep pushing for Maguire given the size of his salary.
That suggests this move is a low ball attempt from West Ham to purely test the waters. Not just with United but Maguireβs camp to let them know theyβre somewhat interested.
So, unless Maguire is willing to move to West Ham and lower his wages, I think we can forget about more offers from West Ham.
Let us know in the comments section how much you think United should demand for Maguire. Anything over Β£30m for me.
