Manchester United to reopen Sofyan Amrabat negotiations next week
Manchester United will resume negotiations to sign Fiorentina midfield ace Sofyan Amrabat on August 15th.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the 26-year-old Morocco international is still on the radar of Manchester United as Erik ten Hag looks to strengthen his midfield ahead of the new season.
TMW claim United can sign Amrabat for a bargain €25m (£21m) this summer, which is less than what previous reports stated.
The Reds could do with another world-class defensive midfield option, in order to provide quality competition and cover for Casemiro.
Furthermore, Fred and Scott McTominay could still leave the club before transfer deadline day, so Ten Hag won’t want to be short of midfield options when the new season begins on the 14th of August against Wolves.
