Mikel Arteta hails Manchester United star ahead of potential debut against Arsenal
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was asked about Manchester United and our new signing Rasmus Hojlund ahead of Sundayβs clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Manchester United fans have been made wait patiently to see Hojlund make his debut for the club.
The Danish striker arrived from Fiorentina last month with a back injury, but it looks like he timed his return for the upcoming trip to Arsenal.
Speaking to reporters at his press conference this afternoon, Erik ten Hag hinted that Hojlund could make his debut this weekend.
βSo we had a good training week,β Ten Hag said. βAnd tomorrow we have the final training (session). (Hojlund) has doing well so he will be available. I think he is ready to start.β
This meant journalists had something to ask Arteta before the game, so they took their opportunity at his press conference β which was held later on Friday afternoon.
Arteta told reporters (via Dom Smith): βHeβs a huge talent. Heβll have to prove that in this league.β

Ah, thereβs nothing like a comment from a rival manager trying to add pressure to one of our new signings.
Everyone needs to have patience with Hojlund, though. He is a 20-year-old after all.
Hojlund isnβt the only United player who could make his debut against the Gunners on Sunday.
After joining the Reds from Tottenham Hotspur on Friday, Sergio Reguilon is in contention to start at left-back.
