Report: Manchester City Open Bidding for Luka Vuskovic
Manchester City is looking to the future and has already outlined one player with whom they are currently in negotiations with
There is much talk of Josko Gvardiol moving from RB Leipzig to Manchester City in the summer, along with a host of other teams vying for the talented Croatian international. Still, Pep Guardiola has his sights set on another.
Luka Vuskovic has made only five starts for HNK Hadjuk Split‘s senior side but has featured for the Under 19s 14 times, scoring six goals as a central defender.
The primary statistic that stands out about this potential deal is that Vuskovic is only 16 years old but is already attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United and Real Madrid, to name but a few.

Graeme Bailey of 90min reported that City and PSG had opened bidding for the talented youngster, with the six-time Croatian champions in no apparent rush to finalise a deal.
Bailey also mentions that sources who made him aware of this situation have said that Hajduk would like a deal similar to that which saw Julian Alvarez stay with CA River Plate after being signed by the reigning Premier League champions.
The uncertainty regarding the Premier League charges against City, and their alleged rule breaches of Financial Fair Play could mean a few transfer windows that plan well into the future.
The Cityzens are the first team to approach the Croatian Under 17 international, with a deal reported to be €12 million, which is currently under the rumoured €15 million price tag Hadjuk has placed on the in-demand Vuskovic.
