Report: Manchester City Set To Reward Key Man With New Contract
Kevin De Bruyne is set to be offered a new deal to stay at Manchester City for another few years.
Manchester City had an excellent weekend as they dismantled their old title rivals Liverpool with ease in the early Saturday kick-off beating Jurgen Klopp‘s side 4-1 even though Mo Salah had initially scored the opener.
The goals from the home side came form Julian Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and lastly from Jack Grealish.
De Bruyne’s goal was rather unspectacular for him as he rolled the ball in for a simple tap-in however his performance in general was more like his spectacular self just when Manchester City needed it.
If City want to win the treble this season they will need the Belgium international at the peak of his powers for the rest of the campaign.

They are also willing to commit his future to the club past this season as reportedly Manchester City want to offer the attacking midfielder a new deal.
At just 31-years-old he certainly has a lot more to deliver for the club which he has shown time and time again that he is one of the best midfielders in the world.
He has had some consistency issues this season but nearly every player has due to the World Cup which thrown in the middle of the campaign.
The faith in him is rightly still there from Pep Guardiola and De Bruyne, should he accept, will have a few more seasons to add to his ridiculous 93 goals and 143 assists.
