Erik ten Hag is also open to allowing the Scotland international to leave, however, the club are in no rush to sanction his exit as he is seen as a reliable, senior figure in the squad.
Manchester United are to receive any bids from the Irons, who are now scouring the market for Declan Riceβs replacement β he just became the most expensive British player of all-time after completing a Β£105 million move to Arsenal.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are open to overseeing numerous player sales so that Erik ten Hagβs transfer budget can be boosted. Theyβve already signed Mason Mount for a Β£55 million upfront fee, and have just agreed a Β£51m deal to bring Andre Onana to Old Trafford as David de Geaβs successor.
McTominay, 26, is a Carrington graduate whose been at the club since he was six years old. He has played a key starting role for the side in recent years but saw his game time significantly reduced due to the arrivals of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro last summer, so may opt for a new venture elsewhere.
He has two years remaining on his contract with the option of a further year.
