Southampton Vs Manchester City Line-Up Confirmed; Pep Guardiola Makes One Change

Manchester City’s side to take on Southampton has been confirmed.

Manchester City will be needing to keep up their good form as they travel toΒ Southampton, who are bottom of the table,Β after they defeatedΒ Liverpool 4-1 with relative ease last weekend to keep up with Arsenal at the top of the table.

There is a positive atmosphere around the club due to the fact that they have a genuine chance of winning a treble as they are in the FA Cup semi-finals as well as the Champions League quarter-finals.

However they mustn’t slip up in the league as Arsenal will end up running away with the title hence why every game is vital during the run-in.

City will be heavy favourites at St Mary’s Stadium as The Saints look like they are fading away from safety with every passing week.

There has been one change from City’s win against Liverpool and that is a big one as leading goal scorer Erling Haaland has been put back into the starting line-up replacing Argentine Julian Alvarez who scored last weekend.

Other than that there has been no other changes from Guardiola who has confidence in the same set of players to get a result against Ruben Selles’ side.
