TRA reward visiting Bayern Munich fans with heartwarming gift at Old Trafford
On Tuesday night, TRA presented every visiting Bayern Munich supporter with a badge commemorating 65 years of Munich residents taking care of the Manchesterplatz memorial in Munich and preserving the memory of the Busby Babes.
The Red Army attached the badges to a postcard with the following message: “Dear Münchner, Thank you for preserving the memory of our Busby Babes. On behalf of The Red Army group (TRA) and all Manchester United supporters, please accept this small symbol of our gratitude for 65 years of goodwill shown to us. The eagle represents the Manchester United Football Club badge, used in the 1958 FA Cup final which took place less than 3 months after the Munich Air Disaster and has been adopted as the symbol of TRA.”

The idea was entirely devised and funded by TRA and 40 TRA members took time off work on Tuesday to attach them to every seat in the away end.
This was a brilliant gesture, so TRA deserve a massive kudos for their efforts. You don’t hear of the club coming up with gestures like this because they’re too busy trying to rip off fans.
Bayern fans hate Glazers
Bayern fans have an impressive history of calling out the Glazers. Last night they showed their true colours once again to the delight of United fans.
‘Twenty is plenty’ and ‘£50 Glazers’ Overkill’ banners were lifted in the away end last night. The Old Trafford faithful weighed in with appreciative chants of ‘if you hate Glazers stand up’.
