(Video) ‘Back to work!’ – Manchester United stars up the ante at Carrington ahead of opening pre-season fixture

Manchester United players are preparing for their opening pre-season fixture this Wednesday, July 12.

The Red Devils will take on Leeds United in Norway before they jet off on their tour of the United States. Given the Whites’ recent relegation, it may be the last time the two rivals meet for a while.

Reds that took part on international duty will return to Carrington over the coming week or so, as they are entitled to a three-week break over the summer.

Players such as Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial are all back though, along with Erik ten Hag’s latest recruit, Mason Mount.

There’s a strong mix of senior and youth players at the training base and hopefully, younger Reds will be granted the opportunity to showcase their abilities throughout the tour.
