The 18-year-old excited fans with his performances during pre-season, but heβs been ruled out with a knee injury since facing Real Madrid in the United States.
Itβs been a three month setback for the youngster.
Mainoo registered his first 90 minutes since returning from injury when the U21s took on Salford City last night. On top of that, he provided two assists.
