(Video) Lisandro Martinez flashes World Cup winner’s medal upon return to Manchester United
Manchester United’s world champion Lisandro Martinez has proudly donned his World Cup winner’s medal in a new video released by the club.
The Argentine has been missed by the Old Trafford faithful following the return to club action, as he is yet to feature for the Reds since winning the tournament. He has, however, returned to training and will be in contention to feature against Bournemouth tomorrow evening.
Martinez is a fan-favourite already at United and is an invaluable piece of Erik ten Hag’s project. He was already regarded as world-class by supporters before jetting off to Qatar, and now he has the medal to cement his status.
