Manchester United fans were able to find one silver lining from the club’s Champions League draw with Galatasaray which all but confirmed their fate in the competition.
After matchday five, the Red Devils remain rock bottom of Group A and will be relying on a win over Bayern Munich, who are unbeaten in 39 group-stage games, as well as a draw between Copenhagen and Galatasaray if they have any chance of making the last-16.
Erik ten Hag opted to deploy Sofyan Amrabat from the offset just three days after Kobbie Mainoo received plaudits for his outstanding showing in his first-ever Premier League start.
The youngster entered the fold for a 32-minute cameo, marking his maiden European outing for United, and impressed viewers despite his short time on the pitch.
One period of play, in particular, has fans talking, as it shows the 18-year-old put up a spirited fight to win the ball, scoop it over his oncoming opponent and play it safely to a teammate.
