(Video) Marcus Rashford links up superbly with Jude Bellingham to give England the lead vs Italy
Marcus Rashford has netted his 17th international goal this evening to give England the lead vs Italy.
The Three Lions went 1-0 down to former West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca in the 15th minute, but a spot-kick from Harry Kane levelled the scoring before half-time.
Now, the Manchester United forward has linked up beautifully with Jude Bellingham to put England ahead in their Euro 2024 qualifier. A win or draw tonight would see them book their spot at next year’s tournament.
It was a devastating counter-attack from the home side and Bellingham showed a touch of genius to knock the ball past his man and carry it forward before laying it off to Rashford, who cut in on his right foot and fired it past Gianluigi Donnarumma.
