Leeds United boss Sam Allardyce has blasted the likes of Erik ten Hag and Jurgen Klopp for time-wasting in-game, despite being vocal about other teams doing it.ย

โ€˜Big Samโ€™ is back in the dugout in a bid to keep the Whites in the Premier League after another campaign of being in and out of the relegation zone.

Theyโ€™re currently in 19th place in the table and take on Newcastle United next, so itโ€™s not looking too promising for the Yorkshire side, with only three fixtures remaining.

Allardyce had no time for complaints on the matter of time-wasting and believed that those vocal about the issue were in fact guilty of it themselves.

In this weekโ€™s press conference, Allardyce quizzed the reporter on which managers had โ€œcomplainedโ€ about the ball-in-play time, to which he responded (via Sky Sports): โ€œJurgen Klopp [and] Erik ten Hagโ€.

The 68-year-old replied: โ€œHe time wastes. He time wastes. They all time waste. Last five minutes when theyโ€™re winning 2-1, donโ€™t be daft! Thatโ€™s rubbish.โ€
