Watch: Erling Haaland Scores Opening Goal On Return To Starting Line-Up

Watch Erling Haaland score just before half-time against relegation threatened Southampton.

Manchester City were hoping to keep Arsenal on their toes with a win against bottom of the table Southampton who look like they are favourites for the drop.

Pep Guardiola made one change to the side that hammered Liverpool 4-1 as he decided to bring the fully fit again Erling Haaland in for Julian Alvarez even though the Argentine scored in his start last weekend.

The decision paid off though as the Norwegian headed the reigning Premier League Champions in front just before half-time getting on the end of a Kevin De Bruyne cross.

With the goal De Bruyne becomes only the fifth player to reach 100 assists and he is the quickest to achieve it as he done it in 237 games.
