Watch: Riyad Mahrez’s Hat-Trick Sends Manchester City To FA Cup Final

Watch Riyad Mahrez’s hat-trick which booked Manchester City’s place in the FA Cup final.

Manchester City defeated Sheffield United with ease to make sure they got to the FA Cup final where they will play either one of Manchester United or Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Championship side were the underdogs for the game and it was clear to see why with the majority of the game played in their half as they couldn’t offer much threat going forward even though they came so close to taking the lead in the opening minute but Stefan Ortega‘s save kept his clean sheet intact.

Mahrez’s first goal came towards the end of the first half as Bernardo Silva was fouled in the box so a penalty was awarded and the Algerian made no mistake sending Wes Foderingham the wrong way with the spot-kick.

His second goal came around the hour mark as he simply ran through the Sheffield United defence like a hot knife through butter before slotting the ball home.

He got his third which secured the match ball a few minutes later running onto Jack Grealish‘s pass firing past the goalkeeper who even though he got a hand to it he couldn’t stop it going in.
